Dr Andy Lee graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1994 and worked in Wirral, United Kingdom, as a GP, GP Trainer, and GP Appraiser as well as being extensively involved in shaping local health services. After a brief stint of doing locums in Brisbane in 1999 , it then took him 18 years to realise he should have stayed here and he eventually returned to work in Brisbane in 2017.

Dr Lee also has a keen interest in skin cancer and has certification in Advanced Skin Cancer Medicine and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery, and is able to perform complex skin cancer surgery such as flaps, partial, and full thickness skin grafts.
