Dr. Ximena Rojas is a distinguished professional who earned her Bachelor of Dentistry degree from the esteemed National University of Colombia in 2009. Embarking on her career in both the public and private sectors in Colombia, she accrued four years of valuable experience as a General Dentist. Motivated by a special interest in oral rehabilitation, Dr. Rojas pursued advanced education, undertaking a post-graduate degree in Prosthodontics at the National University of Colombia, successfully attaining her degree in 2015. With a total of seven years of dental practice in Colombia, she decided to make a significant move to Australia, where she has since chosen to establish her life. Dr. Rojas is deeply passionate about cosmetic dentistry, showcasing her commitment to excellence by staying abreast of the latest dental technology and procedures. This dedication allows her to provide her patients with a sense of comfort and confidence throughout their dental treatments. Dr Shady is an AHPRA-registered Oral Surgery Specialist with a wealth of cross-cultural experience. After completing his Bachelor of Dental Medicine & Surgery degree at Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2007, he obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. He then went on to pursue a career in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and obtained his Master's degree in OMFS from Cairo University in 2016 and Arab Board Fellowship in OMFS in 2018. His interest in oral health and research led him to Australia to pursue a Master of Public Health degree at La Trobe University, which he completed in 2020. Shady obtained Membership of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2023. Shady has a passion for helping his patients achieve their best possible smile, with his calming, mild-mannered approach. He enjoys all aspects of oral surgery practice, with a particular focus on surgical extraction of third molars (wisdom teeth), dental implants, bone grafting procedures and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD). Outside of work, Shady enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, squash, reading and swimming at the beach.
