Dr Nicholas Lucas

Dr Nick Lucas obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the university of Adelaide at the end of 1995 and gained employment in private practice at Hyde Park Dental straight out of university, becoming a partner in 2002. He believes the key to the success of Hyde Park Dental is being able to form long standing relationships over many years with his loyal clients. Customer service is high on the priority list, and listening to patients desires and delivering them with educated options allows his clients to make well informed decisions on their dental health. Nick is devoted to providing compassionate and gentle care, offering a meticulous level of perfectionism with a warm and friendly personality. He enjoys the many different specialties that dentistry affords but especially enjoys the fulfillment that cosmetic dentistry can bring by the use of crown, veneers and tooth coloured digital Cerec restorations. He is proud to be one of the original user of CEREC (cad/cam) dentistry in South Australia with over 20 years experience and was an original attendee at the world first 3D Digital Cerec course. Attending numerous continuing education courses allows him to constantly update his knowledge in the current ideas and techniques that make today's dentistry so advanced. Nick also takes special consideration of our ageing population. Their inability to travel sees Nick visiting the local nursing homes in his spare time to look after the dental needs of these individuals. Outside of dentistry his other passion is his family, the outdoors and food. With his wife and three children life is never dull.
